SMART SCREEN TIME
and Hopefully a Fun Break for You
Uncle Julie's Kids Trivia Show was originally created to give parents a break as they battled through their new role as homeschool teachers. Now, as 2020 continues to give us great challenges, our mission remains the same. The show gives your kids smart screen time and hopefully gives you 30 minutes to breathe. Feel confident stepping away or join us with a glass of your own lemonade. ;)
PICS OF THE NEW SHOW
3 TRIVIA LEVELS
The show has three trivia levels, so that kids ages 6-13 can participate. There are five questions in each level, and they get harder as we go. Trivia includes questions about science, math, civics, entertainment, and more.
Each episode, Uncle Julie's pet lizard, Lizardo, teaches an expression from one of seven languages. The multilingual lizard is a fan favorite on the show. This season he's blue, and Uncle Julie's interactions with him address his sadness.
Every week, Uncle Julie welcomes a series of special guests to share with the kids a joke, art lessons, or a song. Our guests come from all over the country. We also invite kids to participate in the show. Learn more about how your kids can join us.
At the end of each show, Uncle Julie highlights a special figure from history, followed by an important quote. Uncle Julie then presents the "Thinkabout" — an important question for kids to ponder. Then we end with a riddle!
A NOTE TO PARENTS
I am thrilled to kick off the second "season" of Uncle Julie's Kid Trivia Show. With the time, talents, and support of some very special colleagues, we transformed my homemade live-stream into a family Web TV show. I guess some good has, in fact, come out of the pandemic.
As the uncle of six and a director and producer of family content, I understand the great responsibility that it is to speak to kids. I don't take their excitement — nor their trust or yours — lightly. Toward that end, we'll have fun on the show, and I'll make sure each episode is full of intelligence and great heart. We seem to be missing both in our world today.
Feel free to communicate with me through the Lemonade Club page. I'd love to hear from you. Thanks for joining us!
